Kelly Sachatsky Ward

Currently a PhD student at the School of Public Health, Health Promotion and Sociobehavioural Sciences. Doctoral research will address the lack of emergency shelter services available to women whouse drugs and other service gaps.

BScN from U of A in 2003

MA from U of A in Gender and Social Justice Studies. Research focused on sexual assault victims experiences reporting to police as well as the treatment they endure from the legal system during trial.

Currently working as a Registered Nurse at the Opioid Dependency Program in downtown Red Deer.

Enjoys spending time reading and being outdoors with her husband, 3 sons, and 2 large floofy dogs.
